SENCO Construction Recognized with Regional Superintendent’s CLASS Award
Regional Superintendent of Schools, Monte Newlin is pleased to announce that the SENCO Construction, Inc. of Robinson is the third recipient of the Regional Superintendent’s CLASS Awards Program. CLASS (Community Leaders Assisting School Success) spotlights local business and community entities that have made a significant, positive contribution to the quality of education for the students of Clay, Crawford, Jasper, Lawrence, and Richland Counties.
“The generosity shown by SENCO is second to none. They consistently demonstrate a heart for the kids of our community.”
-Monte Newlin, Regional Superintendent of Schools
"Whether it be providing a temporary home to the ROE's Pre-K program or paying for school supplies for over 500 families, Chad Brown and his team at SENCO can always be counted on to step up, and roll up their sleeves and get to work for kids," said Regional Superintendent of Schools Monte Newlin. "When our Crawford County Pre-K became homeless, SENCO made available their training center. Not just for a month or a year, but for multiple years; even going to great expense of doing temporary remodels to their facilities to accommodate the needs of an early childhood center."
Newlin also cited SENCO's generosity in making facilites available to the Crawford County CEO program administered by Twin Rivers EFE, in addition to the school supplies drive done in conjunction with Walmart in the summer of 2021.
"Probably the most impressive part of their contributions is the fact that they do it quietly, without fanfare; not expecting or wanting a spotlight. They epitomize the spirit of community. We're fortunate to have them", said Newlin.
