Celebration of Excellence Banquet
2026 Illinois State Scholars
Each year, ROE #12 is pleased to honor the senior students of our five-county region who have earned the designation of 'Illinois State Scholar.' Statewide, only about 10% of seniors earn that honor. A combination of SAT scores and high school grade point average are combined and used to create a Weighted Scale Score which, if high enough, earns the student the designation. Since 2000, ROE #12 has been proud to honor these outstanding students with an evening of inspiration and celebration.

The 2026 Celebration of Excellence Banquet was held at the Robinson Civic Center on March 10, 2026. More than 315 students, school administrators, and guests were in attendance to celebrate the accomplishments of 77 Illinois State Scholars from all eleven of our public high schools.
