  • High School Diploma or Transcript:
    • Please contact the school you graduated from.
  • HSE [High School Equivalency] Record*
    • GED [General Educational Development Test]
    • HiSET [High School Equivalency Test]
    • TASC [Test Assessing Secondary Completion]
    • AMOC [Transcript-Based Alternative Method of Credentialing]

AND you received your HS/HSE diploma in one of ROE#12's counties:

  • Clay
  • Crawford
  • Jasper
  • Lawrence
  • Richland

THEN complete and return this form:

 

FEES:

  • Official Diploma - $10
  • Official Transcript - $10
  • Unofficial Transcript - No charge

For payments, ROE#12 only accepts cash, check, or money order. ROE#12 does NOT accept online payments, credit cards, or payments via phone call.

GED [General Educational Development] Tests

The GED Tests are a group of four academic subject tests in the United States (and its territories) that certify academic knowledge that is equivalent to a High School Diploma. If you are located in Clay, Crawford, Jasper, Lawrence, or Richland County, you may qualify to be able to take the GED Tests to earn your HSE Diploma. * All GED testing must be registered, scheduled, and paid for through GED.com or Pearson VUE. GED Testing is available in the Pearson VUE Testing Center located at our Crawford County Office, but ROE#12 only proctors the exam. We are not able to register you or accept payment.

HiSET [High School Equivalency Test]

The HiSET exams are a group of five computer-based academic subject tests that certify academic knowledge that is equivalent to a High School Diploma. If you are located in Clay, Crawford, Jasper, Lawrence, or Richland County, you may qualify to be able to take the HiSET exams to earn your HSE Diploma. TASC Test Assessing Secondary Completion

TASC [Test Assessing Secondary Completion]

The Test Assessing Secondary Completion (TASC) was a national high school equivalency exam designed to measure academic proficiency equivalent to a high school diploma, serving as an alternative to the GED. The TASC was discontinued on December 31, 2021, and is no longer an active test, with states transitioning to other high school equivalency (HSE) options.

AMOC

ICCB Illinois Community College Board

AMOC [Transcript-Based Alternative Method of Credentialing]

According to guidelines set by the Illinois Community College Board (ICCB), the Transcript-Based Alternative Method of Credentialing [AMOC] provides an alternative route to HSE [High School Equivalency] for candidates who have already completed a significant amount of high school or post-secondary credits. Candidates who meet the eligibility requirements for AMOC shall be granted a State of Illinois High School Diploma upon completion of the following:

  • Minimum high school credit requirements from a state-recognized and accredited public or private high school
  • Completion of the TABE 11/12 Reading exam with a scale score of 576 or higher (grade 9 equivalent)
  • Completion of the U.S. and Illinois State Constitution and Flag Requirements
